Zinedine Zidane’s return to Real Madrid will have a knock-on effect for players at the club and around Europe.
These include the likes of Chelsea star Eden Hazard, who continues to be linked with a move to the Spanish giants.
Zidane is a known admirer of the Belgium international and was planning to sign him last summer before shocking Real by quitting the club.
But after the poor short tenure of Santiago Solari, Zidane is back and got off to strong start with a 2-0 victory over Celta Vigo on Saturday as Isco and Gareth Bale found the net.
However, following the contest, Zidane admitted he was already looking to the summer transfer window for reinforcements.
“We will have changes (in the summer), but I cannot say anything more,” Zidane told the Spanish media.
“I will not be here each 10 games thinking if someone played well they will stay, he played badly he must go.”
It has been reported that Bale will have to leave the Bernabeu for a player such as Hazard to arrive.
