The Nigerian lady identified as Zainab Aliyu who was arrested in Saudi Arabia for alleged drug trafficking arrived in Nigeria on Monday.
She arrived the country alongside Ibrahim Abubakar who was also arrested for allegedly trafficking illegal substances.
The duo were received by delegates of the Nigerian government and their parents.
The two were accused of smuggling tramadol to Saudi Arabia, an offence that is punishable by death, according to the laws of the country.
The quick intervention of the Nigeria government was their saving grace from untimely death.
