United Nations calls for independent probe into Mohammed Morsi’s death

Just days after the sudden death of the first democratic president of Egypt, Mohammed Morsi, the  United Nations human rights office have called for an “independent inquiry” into his death.

According to the spokesman of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights,Rupert Colville, “Any sudden death in custody must be followed by a prompt, impartial, thorough and transparent investigation carried out by an independent body to clarify the cause of death.”
