In the 11th week of Bundesliga 2018-19, Borussia Dortmund faced their arch-rivals Bayern Munich. Paco Alcacer and Marco Reus helped Borussia Dortmund via 3 goals to open a seven point lead on defending Bundesliga champions, Bayern Munich.
Both Dortmund and Bayern started the match with well balanced line-ups. Bayern Munich started the match aggressively and tried their best to get an early advantage in the game, but all their efforts were blocked by Borussia Dortmund’s resolute defense, and both teams were unable to open the scoring in the first 25 minutes of the game.
In the 26th minute of the match however, Robert Lewandowski scored a goal to provide the lead for Bayern Munich via a Serge Gnabry assist. The score remained 0-1 till halftime.
In the second half, Borussia Dortmund started playing more aggressively, and they got the benefit of it. In the 48th minute of the game, Manuel Neuer conceded a penalty after a foul in the penalty area. Marco Reus took responsibility, and scored a goal from the penalty spot.
Just 3 minutes after Reus’ goal, Robert Lewandowski scored another goal to provide the lead for his team once again, but Marco Reus again leveled the scores in the 67th minute of the encounter.
In the 73rd minute, Paco Alcácer scored the final goal of the match to provide the lead for his team via an assist from Axel Witsel. At full time the score remained 3-2 in Dortmund’s favor.
With this win, Borussia Dortmund maintains their unbeaten streak in this year’s Bundesliga. Bayern Munich on the other hand, lost their 3rd match of the season, and they are 3rd on the league table.

So Barca gives Paco Alcacer on loan to Dortmund for just €2m & possibly €23m for a 4-year deal. He scores in every match.
Same Dortmund gave Dembélé to Barça for about €105m, dude scores when makes a mistake. Is this not scamming? #BVBFCB #ForçaBarça pic.twitter.com/YePqfxPClM— 👻Benji❌ (@BenjiMonze) November 10, 2018
