Tripartite Committee submits N30,000 as new minimum wage to President Buhari

The Tripartite Committee on Review of National Minimum Wage on Tuesday submitted a recommendation of N30,000 as the new minimum wage for workers in the country.

President Muhammadu Buhari received the report from the chairman of the committee and a former Head of Service of the Federation, Ms Ama Pepple, at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

The President thanked the members of the committee for their efforts and promised to send an executive bill to the National Assembly for approval.
