Teacher faces jail term for sexually assaulting her students


A special education teacher identified as Laura Calladio Ramos,could be jailed for five years after she admitted to having sex with two of her students, violating a protective order.

Ramos was told on Monday by Supreme Court Judge,Robert Devlin, that she will be sentenced to a maximum five years in prison when she is sentenced on January 25.

Ramos, a former teacher at Central High School in Bridgeport, could have faced up to 25 years in prison if she was convicted during trial.
