Shatta Wale quits VGMA forever; swears ‘blood oath’

The self-proclaimed Dancehall King Shatta Wale has announced that he will never be part of the most prestigious award scheme in Ghana-Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.

His decision comes on the back of his recent brawl at the just ended VGMAs with his arch-rival Stonebwoy on stage at the Accra International Conference Centre which halted the event for more than 30 minutes.

The clash led to Stonebwoy pulling out a handgun on stage.

The clash led to their arrest by the police and are now charged by the court on 3 counts with their case adjourned to 20th June.

Amid all the brouhaha, Shatta Wale who seems not to handle the heat took to his micro-blogging website, Facebook to announce his exit from the VGMA.
