Just hours after news broke that President of Rwanda Paul Kagame, President of DR Congo Felix Tshisekedi and the President of Malawi Peter Mutharika have all decided to withdraw from the World Economic Forum ( WEF) which is scheduled to begin in South Africa from Wednesday September 4, 2019.
Communication Advisory Yolande Makolo, to President Paul Kagame, debunked the news that H.E. was not attending the fourm because of the crisis in South Africa, this was confirmed by Josey Mahachie.

The other two African leaders are yet to give a statement as to whether they won’t be attending the three-day event holding in Capetown.
Zimbabwean media personality, Josey Mahachie also confirmed that the Zambian National team cancelled its friendly game with South Africa, citing security concerns.
