Real’s cash-plus-player offer for Liverpool’s Mo Salah

As per a report from Spanish outlet Diario Gol this morning, Spanish and European champions Real Madrid are ready to test Liverpool’s resolve with a massive cash-plus-player bid for Mohamed Salah this summer.

Big-money arrival

And he has certainly not taken long to settle back into the rigours of the English game, having already popped up with an incredible 36 goals across all competitions to this point in the campaign.

Bernabeu bound?

Unsurprisingly, Salah’s

sensational exploits on Merseyside have seen the African wide-man inevitably linked with a move to some of Europe’s other top clubs, with Spanish giants Real Madrid the side most-persistently linked with an offer for his services.

Los Blancos are known to be on the lookout for reinforcements in attacking areas, with Cristiano Ronaldo having turned 33 last month, Gareth Bale continually struggling to regain full fitness, and Karim Benzema failing to rediscover top form.

As such, as per the aforementioned report from Diario Gol, the board at the Bernabeu are ready to test their Anfield counterparts with a massive offer for Salah, at the end of the season.

Real are said to be prepared to offer up 150 million Euro, plus winger/attacking midfielder Lucas Vazquez for Salah.

Vazquez, a gifted 26-year-old Spanish international, has spent his entire career to date with Real (aside from a one-year loan at Espanyol), having come up through the youth ranks at the club.

He has been linked with moves to both Liverpool and Arsenal in the past, and has racked up an impressive 8 goals and 8 assists to this point in the current campaign, despite making just 18 starts across all competitions.

Staying put

However, any and all reports linking Salah with an exit from Anfield this summer should be taken with a pinch of salt, with numerous outlets around Europe positive that the Reds are ready to resist all offers for their star man, no matter how tempting.
