Whether it’s teams looking to win the title, those aspiring for a place in European competition, or staving off relegation to the second tier, the plans for next season have already begun at pace. The massive transfer fees associated with the window don’t look like slowing down anytime soon, and for that reason, the mega deals are already being put in place.
Without further ado here are the latest European rumours for March 31.
We start our journey in Spain, where English giants Manchester United is chasing Real Madrid defender Raphael Varane. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been made a permanent manager at the club and has already identified the defender he wants to add to his ranks.
Zinedine Zidane signed Varane, and the returning Real Madrid boss has been quick to pour water on the move, according to the Manchester Evening News. He insists Varane is happy at the club despite the difficult season.
Another player eager to remain at his current club is Oliver Burke. The Scottish international joined Celtic on loan from West Brom following a difficult spell in the Midlands and with RB Leipzig. The winger has found more success up in Scotland, and he is keen to remain at the club past the expiry of his loan deal according to the Daily Record.
Meanwhile, Liverpool target Nabil Fekir is open to relocating in the summer transfer window. The French international had a move to Anfield nixed in the summer, although it is believed that Jurgen Klopp remains a fan of his talents.
