Petr Cech Ruled Out For Month Due To Hamstring Injury

Arsenal goalkeeper Petr Cech has been ruled out for up to a month with a hamstring injury .

Cech limped off late in the first half of Arsenal ’s 2 – 0 win against Watford on Saturday after suffering the injury while taking a goal kick .

Arsenal said in an update on theirofficial website ahead of their Europe League tie at Qarabag on Thursday that Gunners captain Cech had a “ left hamstring injury ” and was “expected to return to full training in three to four weeks ” .

The former Chelsea star has not made the trip to Azerbaijan and will definitely miss Sunday’ s visit to Fulham , Arsenal ’slast Premier League before an international break , and the home game on October 22 against Leicester .

Bernd Leno produced an impressive display after replacing Cech against Watford and boss Unai Emery backed the German to prove a sturdy understudy.
