Arsenal are reportedly keeping tabs on Ousmane Dembele’s situation at Barcelona.
Dembele arrived at the Nou Camp from Borussia Dortmund at the start of last season but his discipline remains cause for concern.
Ernesto Valverde is said to have pulled Dembele into line on more than one occasion already this season.
Liverpool were linked with an £85m bid for the Frenchman earlier this week although it has since been suggested that the Reds have no plans to make a move.
However, top four rivals Arsenal are said to remain big admirers of the youngster and are continuing to monitor his situation.
Mundo Deportivo, as per Sport Witness , claim Arsenal chief Sven Mislintat is not ‘losing sight’ of Dembele.
Mislintat snapped the Frenchman up for Dortmund from Rennes in 2016, when he was at the German club.
The pair are believed to have a good relationship and should Barca be open to a deal, Arsenal hope Mislintat’s influence could work in their favour.
Dembele is said to be one of Arsenal’s potential transfer targets in January.
Dembele’s agent reportedly met with Barca chiefs on Wednesday to discuss Dembele’s situation.
He was left out of the squad for the weekend defeat to Real Betis due to a “stomach bug” but there are concerns inside the Nou Camp.
While Barca are happy with his progress on the pitch, they want more commitment from him off it and have suggested his family members or representatives move closer to him.
