Olivier Giroud mocked Arsenal following Chelsea’s victory in the Europa League final on Wednesday evening.
The French striker opened the scoring early in the second half against his former club with a superb header.
Pedro doubled Chelsea’s lead before Eden Hazard sent Petr Cech the wrong way from the penalty spot.
Alex Iwobi scored an excellent long-range goal to hand Arsenal a glimmer of hope but Hazard netted his second of the game to seal Chelsea’s 4-1 win.
Giroud did not hesitate when celebrating against his former club but the striker aimed a clear dig at his former club during the celebrations on the team bus after the game.
In Jorginho’s live video published on Instagram, Giroud could be seen holding the Europa League trophy and shouted towards the camera: ‘Thank you, Arsenal!’

Speaking after the match, Giroud paid tribute to Arsenal and claimed the club had changed his life.
‘It was a good final and we have been better, more efficient in the second half,’ said Giroud.
‘I am very proud, this team deserved to win something. It was special for me, I am happy for this club. It’s my second trophy in two years.
‘These two clubs changed my life, they gave me the opportunity to play in the Premier League.
‘I didn’t want to celebrate against Arsenal but I am so proud to win this trophy with Chelsea.
‘When you give me the chance to get game time I always try my best. It was our second target to win the Europa League after finishing in the top four so I feel blessed.’
