Marcus Rashford demands £300,000-a-week salary from Man United chiefs amid quit notice

Marcus Rashford has reportedly demanded a massive £300,000-a-week salary from Manchester United eggheads or he will seek a move away from Old Trafford.

According to Metro report citing The Mirror, Rashford has about 12 months left on his current deal, and the England forward is threatening to join the pair of Paul Pogba and David de Gea in seeking a move away from Old Trafford.

Club boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is now afraid the young forward might complete a switch to the Spanish topflight on a free transfer.

The 21-year-old forward is on Barcelona radar and will head for the exit doors if he fails to agree an extension with Red Devils chiefs.

At the moment, Rashford is keen on earning £300,000-a-week, just like Alexis Sanchez – who pockets about £500,000-a-week – despite limited appearance.

The Mirror claim Rashford is not in a hurry to quit his boyhood club, but is upbeat that suitors will be ready to meet his demands, as they are not going to splash out transfer fee.
