Manchester United could be ready to sack Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and replace him with Paris Saint-Germain boss Thomas Tuchel.
This is according to reports in France with Le10 Sport saying United are keeping tabs on Tuchel should Solskjaer fail to get United back to the pinnacle of English football.
Per talkSPORT, French publication L’Equipe have taken the claims further stating United have even informed the German of their interest.
They also believe the former Borussia Dortmund boss is on the shortlist of numerous clubs around Europe.
“Three teams around Europe have let him know they continue to follow him closely, among which are Bayern Munich and Manchester United.”
It makes for worrying news for Solskjaer as the 46-year-old is only just six months into a three year deal he signed with United back in March.
The fan favourite signed as full-time manager after an impressive run as caretaker manager which even included Champions League victory over Tuchel’s PSG side.
Since taking the job full time it’s been less than stellar for Solskjaer.
United endured a miserable end to last season missing out on the Champions League.
They have only lost one game this season but many performances have been uninspiring.
