The good times are well and truly back at Manchester United after yet another win under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
After an impressive start under the Norwegian coach United faced their toughest test when they travelled to face Tottenham in the Premier League fixture on Sunday afternoon.
However, United overcame a tricky away test with a fine 1-0 away win which demonstrated their own top-four credentials for the season.
Marcus Rashford netted the only goal of the game as he continued his remarkable scoring run, while David de Gea stole the show with a man of the match display.
The Spanish goalkeeper made 11 saves in the match, the most saves he’s made in a top-flight league match without conceding a goal, and speaking after the game he claimed the ‘real United’ are back under Solskjaer.
“The players are playing very well, the team is strong now. This is the real Man Utd.”
And it looks like he is not the only person to think that.
As the full-time whistle echoed around Wembley stadium United players celebrated with raw emotion as they savoured three famous points.
While teammates ran over to mob De Gea, the television cameras panned over into the crowd and showed Sir Alex Ferguson reacting to the win.
The legendary Scottish manager appeared to epitomise the feeling of almost every United supporter as he got out of his seat and watched the celebrations with a huge smile on his face.
The feel good factor is back at United, and it’s got the approval of the club’s greatest ever manager.
