Jurgen Klopp reveals the one thing that made him happy in Barcelona defeat

On reflection, it wasn’t a night packed with positives as Liverpool come to terms with the fact their Champions League semi-final is all-but over by half-time.

But manager Jurgen Klopp found something to be pleased about.

The Reds were beaten 3-0 in Barcelona and their manager accepts it will take something very special to turn things around.

But at least he found a fact to perk himself up with.

He said on BT Sport: “It’s about scoring goals, they scored three and we scored none. I’m really happy with the performance but not the result.

“How we created the chances and caused them problems was outstanding – I don’t know if we can play much better.”
