The historic building of the First Baptist Church of Wakefield in Massachusetts was burnt down to the ground on Tuesday night.
The church workers were left in shock when they saw a painting of Jesus clearly untouched by the fire, when they were clearing the church remains.
Former parishioner Susan Auld told the Globe that the Jesus painting will be given to a former pastor of the church.
