Controversial music star Shatta Wale has reacted after the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) board announced its decision to ban him from the scheme indefinitely.
According to Shatta Wale, the VGMA board had their own agenda against him even though they invited him to join this year’s edition.
The VGMA board, on Thursday, May 23, 2019, announced that Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy had been banned from the awards indefinitely.
Also, the board has withdrawn the two awards each of them won at the 20th edition.
This follows the altercation which happened between Shatta and Stonebwoy on the awards night on Saturday, May 18, 2019.
In his post on Facebook after the board’s announcement, Shatta Wale who sounded betrayed stated that he had learned his lessons.
He further urged his fans, not to ‘insult’ anybody over the matter.
Part of the social media post reads:
“My fans pls don’t go diss nobody on their wall and pls don’t share things on your wall about other people if it negative because we are a movement with positivity…If it’s not Shatta Wale that you truly say you love, pls and pls don’t otherwise I will block and delete people like that out of my friend list .. With all respect !!!!”
