ISIL kill three troops in Southern Libya


At least three troops at a security checkpoint in southern Libya, were killed by members of the Islamic State of Iraq.

According to a statement released, the Libyan National Army (LNA) said the fighters captured four soldiers in the attack on the town of Zillah, 750 kilometres southwest of the capital, Tripoli.

The LNA, led by renegade military commander Khalifa Haftar, said its troops were able to free four of the captives.

ISIL claimed responsibility for the attack in a statement distributed through its Aamaq news agency.
