I Would’ve Died If I Didn’t Meet Cardi B – Akuapem Poloo

The Grammy-winning rapper was billed to headline Livespot X Festival in Accra, Ghana on Sunday, December 8th.

Ahead of the much anticipated concert, the organisers arranged for a meet and greet with local celebrities in the West African country.

Ghanaian celebrities including Afia Schwarzenegger, Efia Odo, Jackie Appiah, Yvonne Nelson, Lydia Forson, Hajia4real, Bullet, Wendy Shay, Akuapem Poloo, Victoria Lebene, Moesha Boduong among others honoured the invite. However, after several hours of waiting there was no-show.

Although she later attended the event, it was hours after it ought to have started, with many Ghanaian celebrities waiting.

The Internet was not kind to these people as netizens started trolling the celebrities for their duty of trying to welcome Cardi B to the motherland

Akuapem Poloo, who stayed behind to have a chit-chat with the ‘Money’ spitter says she would have collapsed and given up the ghost if didn’t meet Cardi B.

In a conversation with Halifax Ansah Addo on Okay FM’s ‘Best Entertainment Show’ on Monday, she said she loves Cardi B to the moon and back.

”Halifax, I love Cardi B. I was so ready for her, I had wanted to see her so there was no way I would have given up on seeing her face to face. I would have collapsed and died if had not seen Cardi.” Akuapem Poloo stated.
