Contrary to word on the street that songstress Rebecca Acheampong who performs by the stage name Becca was a nobody until she signed unto Zylofon Media, a 360 entertainment company. The ‘Na Wash’ crooner has stated unambiguously that she was rich before she joined the record label.
Becca inked a 3-year promotion and management deal with the Nana Appiah Mensah “NAM 1” owned company.
Multiple online publications suggested that she used funds from the deal to open her Kora Spa at East Legon.
Reason many nicknamed her ‘The Judas of Our Time’ when she unfolowed NAM 1 on Instagram during his hard times.
However, speaking with Mamavi Owusu-Aboagye on Cosmopolitan Mix on Joy FM Tuesday, she said “I had enough cash before I signed on to Zylofon,”
The famed musician noted that she had a lot of money from her music before she joined Zylofon Media.
Becca proudly stated that she was born with silver spoon in her mouth therefore claims that the record label made her rich is bogus.
“Even before I joined Zylofon I was driving whatever car I wanted to drive, travel to everywhere I want to…eat whatever food I wanted,” she stated.
She disclosed that her contract with the East Legon based record label ended in January this year.
The ‘African Woman’ singer mentioned that she still has a cordial relationship with NAM 1 and her former label mates.
She divulged that plans are far advance and she might renew her contract with the label.
The-mother-of-one noted that at Zylofon Media she and the label benefitted equally because she gained a lot of knowledge there.
Asked whether she has investment locked up at the defunct Menzgold Ghana Limited also owned by NAM 1, she replied in the negative.
Becca who recruited Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage for her latest joint ‘Yes I Do’ intimated that her family members have monies locked up there.
