Ghanaian rapper M.anifest has clashed with Shatta Wale over who started organizing free shows for his fans in Ghana.
The raggae and dancehall artist in a recent conversation with KOD on Starr FM’s Starr Drive observed that he begun such act in the country.
”I thank God every artist in Ghana is learning how i started schooling.I started doing this free and community shows while other artists were concentrating on conference centers. I’m happy they have learned that, the street is the right place for them.” Shatta Wale said when he was imparting his insight about Sarkodie’s “This Is Tema” Concert.
Responding to the claim, M.anifest said if there is anyone to take credit for starting free shows in the country, it should be him.
According to him, he begun such gesture to show appreciation to his fans way before Shatta Wale whose real name is Charles Nii Armah Mensah started his.
M.anifest stated without mincing words that he started doing Madina street block concert way back in 2013.
