Since the introduction of the mobile money service in the year 2009, the benefits to subscribers had been enormous but in recent times there have been reports about mobile money fraudsters scamming people out of their hard earned money.
Kumawood actor Don Little has revealed that he has found himself in this web of a mess.
According to him, he has been left with no option than to eat gari soakings for survival because some fraudsters have defrauded him of his last GH 1,500 cedis, given to him by a friend.
Narrating how it happened in an interview with Zionfelix, he indicated that barely a week ago he had a phone from an unknown number who told him he had mistakenly sent some money meant to pay hospital bills of a relative to his number. He pleaded with him to refund the money to them.
Born Stephen Atanga added that he could not take time to breathe than to talk of to verify the claims of the caller, a different person phoned him and said the call was being placed from the office of the network he is on.
He continued that he has sympathy for people and he didn’t want to keep the money meant for the health bills of someone therefore he gave them the green light to withdraw their money only for him to realise he has been dumped of all his E-money.
