How Pep Guardiola trolled Man United after Chelsea loss

Liverpool are clear at the top of the Premier League.

Chelsea became the first team to beat Man City in the league on Saturday with a 2-0 victory at Stamford Bridge.

Maurizio Sarri’s side, who have been poor in recent weeks, beat the Sky Blues with goals from N’Golo Kante and David Luiz.

The result means that Liverpool, who beat Bournemouth 4-0, have 42 points on the board.

Man City have 41 points, while Chelsea (34) are fourth behind Tottenham (36).

After the Chelsea match, Pep Guardiola trolled Man United in his post match presser.

The Man City boss stated his belief on which clubs can realistically win the title this year. He said:

We are in December. If you tell me Liverpool can win the Premier League I will say ‘yes.’ If you tell me Tottenham, Arsenal or Chelsea can, I will say ‘yes’.

Of course Guardiola never mentioned Man United as potential league winners.

Man United, after beating Fulham on Saturday, are sixth in the division, Jose Mourinho’s men have 26 points after 16 matches.
