Now it has emerged that Kane’s ankle problems could get worse, according to foot and ankle trauma expert, .

In the Times he wrote:

In the case of Kane, his ankle is probably relatively stable but he has probably slightly increased his risk of further injury because he has had the issue before.

The Englishman has now suffered the same injury on five occasions – against Sunderland, Millwall, AFC Bournemouth, Manchester United and now Manchester City.

Kane’s longest stint on the sidelines with an ankle injury has been ten games.

However, this time, he looks unlikely to perform a miraculous recovery with the injury worse than before.

Having suffered the injury on numerous occasions he has become increasingly susceptible to repeating the injury.
