Ghanaian actress and ex-wife of Black Stars player, Majeed Waris, Habiba Sinare has come out to complain about the treatment she was given when she was married to the footballer.
In an emotional interview on Hitz103.9FM Habiba recounted her marriage life and alleged that she was treated like garbage by Majeed Waris.
According to Habiba, she had to quit medical school with just a year to complete her studies in order to make work her marriage to Waris who is an illiterate.
The single mother who described herself as a proud divorcee also disclosed that her family wanted her to marry someone from her own class but she chose the Right to Dream Academy graduate.
She noted that was she never happy throughout her marriage life and always have to fake her smile in public.
Habiba believes the axing of the Porto man from the Black Stars final 23-man squad for AFCON 2019 was retribution for the poor way he treated her during their marriage.
She seized the opportunity to advise single women never to marry men below their standards, this according to her is because they treat women like trash.
Waris and Habiba, who is also the niece of veteran actress Kalsoum Sinare Baffoe, the wife of former Ghana international Tony Baffoe were joined in holy matrimony somewhere in 2017
However, the marriage hit the rocks only sixteen months later. They have a son from the marriage.
