‘Division Of Fans Won’t Help Ghanaian Musicians To Top World Charts” – Guru (Video)

NKZ music boss Guru in an interview with Sammy Flex of Zylofon FM pointed out some of the challenges facing the Ghanaian music industry and why Ghanaian musicians are unable to top world charts.

According to Guru, Nigerian musicians are not only dominating charts in west Africa but Africa as a whole because music lovers in Nigeria push artists and forget about cliques they belong to.

Wizkid and David have no nations and movements and Nigerian music lovers always unite to promote their artistes.

Unlike Ghana, most of the top stars in Ghana who have vibrant cliques do not urge members of their cliques to promote the works of other artistes in the country.

Guru added that getting a vibrant clique/fanbase makes it easy for an artist to promote his works but it might not take only the artist’s fanbase/clique to top world charts.
