Disney donates $5m towards Notre-Dame Cathedral restoration


Days after the forward incident that happened at Notre Dame, Paris, Disney company donated $5million to help restore the damaged Paris cathedral, the location is one Disney won’t forget in a hurry after making millions from the 1996 animated blockbuster movie, “The Hunchback of Notre Dame.”

Disney Chief Executive Bob Iger said in a statement, “Notre-Dame is a beacon of hope and beauty that has defined the heart of Paris and the soul of France for centuries, inspiring awe and reverence for its art and architecture and for its enduring place in human history.

“The Walt Disney Company stands with our friends and neighbours in the community, offering our heartfelt support as well as a $5 million donation for the restoration of this irreplaceable masterpiece.”
