Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea is reportedly ready to commit his long term future to the club, but is waiting for an offer that would see his wages increase by 50 per cent.
The Daily Mail claim De Gea is keen to extend his stay at United, after a one year extension to his current stay was triggered earlier this season.
But the report says that in order for De Gea to sign a new deal, he wants wages of over £300,000 including bonuses. That would see a 50 per cent increase from his current £200,000-a-week contract.
De Gea made 11 saves against Tottenham as United made it six wins out of six under caretaker manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, and the Spaniard reminded bosses of his importance to the team.
The report also says Ander Herrera is confident of signing a new contract as negotiations continue.
Meanwhile, former United youngster Ravel Morrison could be offered a return to British football with Rangers.
Once tipped as United’s next exciting graduate of the youth academy, Morrison’s career has taken him abroad to Lazio. But with only eight appearances there in three years, he has spent time on loan in Mexico at Atlas.
But his recent social media activity has seen him follow the official Rangers Instagram account as well as boss Steven Gerrard and players Joe Worrall and Ryan Kent.
