Eden Hazard has again refused to comment on the mounting speculation that he could leave Chelsea FC for Real Madrid this summer.
The Belgian playmaker’s situation at Stamford Bridge has been a constant source of speculation in recent weeks after Zinedine Zidane was re-appointed as the club’s manager.
Hazard has long been touted as a potential target for the Spanish side and the situation has move further into the spotlight due to the fact that his current deal at Stamford Bridge is due to expire in the summer of 2020.
The 28-year-old is currently on international duty with Belgium, and he once again gave little away when quizzed about his future.
When asked whether a deal was in place for him to join Real Madrid, Hazard is quoted as saying by Metro: “There’s nothing in the reports.
“I’m only focused on tomorrow’s [Sunday’s] game against Cyprus. ‘That’s all I’m thinking about.”
Chelsea FC are currently in sixth place in the Premier League table as they bid to try and break back into the top four before the season is out.
The west London side suffered a disappointing 2-0 loss to Everton last time out and they will return to Premier League action after they international break with a trip to Cardiff on Sunday.
