As the 2019 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards(VGMA) near, there have been debates as to who wins what on the set date of the biggest award scheme in Ghana.
Most musicians are claiming bragging rights as the battle for supremacy lingers on.
Well, renowned gospel musician and Evangelist, I.K Aning has affirmed that his ‘controversial’ ‘Bobolebobo’ song is more popular than Shatta Wale’s ‘My level’.
He made this assertion in an interview with Kweku Bee Abrante on WizzGh TV.
Emphasizing on his statement, the gospel singer opined that his ‘bobolebobo’ song was all over the place as it was played everywhere but ‘My Level’ was only played in Clubs and pubs.
He stated emphatically that ‘My level’ song is below the standard of ‘bobolebobo’.
“No song is popular than “Bobolebobo”, Not even Shatta Wale’s “My level” My level’s stardard is not Bobolebobo, is my level palyed in Church? No it only played in clubs but Bobolebobo is played every where” he disclosed.
I.K Aning also added that his song topped several relevant charts in the year under review than Shatta Wale’s My level song and songs of Stonebwoy.
‘Bobolebobo’ song is nominated in the most popular song of the year at the upcoming 2019 VGMAs and is competing with songs like CCTV, Do the dance, Akwaaba, Thunder, Wish me well, Can’t let you go, Kpoo Keke, My Level,Woara,Come and see my moda and Kwani Kwani(Part 2).
