Alexis Sanchez has informed his friends that he intends to leave Manchester United after Jose Mourinho dropped him from the squad to face Young Boys in the Champions League, according to reports.
There have been rumours circling about the Chilean’s future at the club and he has often cut an unhappy figure since arriving at Old Trafford in January.
And Mourinho leaving Sanchez out of the Champions League squad is reportedly the final straw report the MEN.
The Mirror reports Mourinho’s decision against Young Boys left the Chilean furious and their relationship may be beyond the point of no return after the striker didn’t even make the substitutes’ bench.
Mourinho’s decision has seemingly made Sanchez’s determination to quit even stronger, the report claims, and he has confided in people that he wants to leave the club and wants a move to Paris Saint-Germain.
Mourinho confirmed in his post match press conference that he had dropped the 29-year-old for the clash which saw United confirm their place in the knockout round of the tournament.
In other news David de Gea is reportedly open to signing a new contract at Old Trafford providing he is given a big wage increase.
The Spaniard is out of contract in the summer, with the club having the option of extending his deal for a year, and while Old Trafford chiefs are hopeful of him putting pen to paper on a new deal he has yet to agree new terms.
Negotiations have currently reached a standstill but de Gea is open to staying providing the club offer him a five year deal and match Sanchez’s £350,000 a week wages.
