8 Goals In Four Matches; Ighalo Reveals Secret Behind Goalscoring Form

Changchun Yatai Captain, Odion Ighalo has stated that his current scoring form is a result of consistent hard work both on and off the pitch.

The Super Eagles forward, who has been in an imperial form of late, scoring 8 goals in his last 4 games for both club and country, further praised his teammates for their continuous support.

“For me, it has just been work, hard work, and more hard work.

“I’m happy with my form but the whole team deserves the praise because without them it won’t be possible,” Ighalo said.

With just three games to the end of the Chinese Super League, the Nigerian remains on course to win the golden boot award as he is just two goals shy of current leader Lei Wu who has 23 goals compared to Ighalo’s 21 strikes.
