Zlatan to LA Galaxy

Manchester United  have agreed to terminate the contract of striker Zlatan Ibrahimović  with immediate effect.

In a statement on the club’s official website, the Red Devils thanked the Swede for his efforts at the club.

Ibrahimovic is expected to move to the MLS to join LA Galaxy

When Zlatan Ibrahimović arrived at Man United , many fans were sceptical about the impact the striker would have.

Although the Sweden international was a certified legend in European football for his exploits with Barcelona, Inter and AC MIlan, he had never fared particularly well against English opposition.

Added to that, he was 35 years old and had spent four years playing against Ligue 1 opposition for PSG.

However, armed with one of the most impressive trophy hauls in world football  and an incredible amount of self-confidence, the Swede duly delivered.

Ibrahimović scored 28 goals in the 2016/17 season, as United went on to collect two trophies.

Unfortunately a knee ligament injury cut his season (and ultimately his career as a Red Devil) short and he is know expected to join LA Galaxy

After his short but sweet career at Old Trafford, fans have flocked to social media to thank ‘Ibra’ for his contribution to the Manchester United side.
