United Looking To Sign Ibrahimovic, Lucas amongst others

Having been linked with a couple of Serie A centre-backs, reports suggest Jose Mourinho is also looking in Italy for a left-back. According to Radio Kiss Kiss Naples, United have made an offer worth around £40million for Faouzi Ghoulam, but Napoli have told them where to stick it as they would rather keep hold of the Algeria international.

It seems that United aren’t banking on Ghoulam given they are also reported to have made  a ‘dizzying offer’ for Atletico Madrid’s Lucas Hernandez. The France international, who can play at left-back or centre-half, is said to be keen to move to Old Trafford and given Marca say United are ready to double his wages, you can understand why.

Mourinho also wants Zlatan Ibrahimovic back at Old Trafford and The Sun reckons he also wants to revive a move for Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, but it might not be the Portuguese in the dug-out come January. A week on from reports that he would be sacked regardless of the Newcastle result, Calciomercato claims United have sounded out Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri about the possibility of taking over. Apparently, he quite fancies it…
