Sergio Ramos reveals who caused Real Madrid’s sack of Lopetegui

Real Madrid captain, Sergio Ramos has blamed Los Blancos’ players for the sack of manager, Julen Lopetegui.

Lopetegui was dismissed on Monday evening after just four months in his appointment as Zinedine Zidane’s successor.

He was sacked after Madrid were hammered 5-1 by Barcelona at the Nou Camp.

But Reacting to the sack of Lopetegui, Ramos took to his Instagram page, sergio_ramos_idol, to state that Madrid players are responsible.

“We’re aware and feel responsible for this situation,” Ramos wrote.

“But this is no time to talk, it’s time to act. Today’s the first step. #HalaMadrid.”

Madrid will tonight take on Melilla in the Copa del Rey fixture.
