NGO As I Grow donates to Miawani LA Primary School

As I Grow (AIG) undoubtedly one of Ghana’s fast-growing non-governmental organization (NGO) has made a donation to the Miawani L.A Primary School in the Eastern Region.

The donation, formed part of the organization’s mission, to eradicate teenage pregnancy assisting to improve quality of education, better healthcare and the general wellbeing of the people in the rural communities.

Items donated to Miawani L.A Primary School include exercise books, pens, white writing boards, bibles, footballs, liquid soaps among others.

Addressing the press Mr. Debrah Bekoe Isaac, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of As I Grow (AIG) foundation said the aim of the donation is to give each and everyone the equal opportunity to quality education.

“Our main aim for this donation is for each and everyone to get a proper and quality education; the world has become a global village now and without education, life will be extremely difficult one especially for the young ones.

“As we all know education has become the lifeline of every nation now either we believe it or not so we are trying as much as possible to let people know the importance of education,” he said.

Mr. Debrah used the occasion to call on the co-operate world, NGO’s and the government at large to come to the aid of Miawani community to help build their school block.

“We can all see the deplorable state of the Miawani L.A Primary School and this don’t speak well of our education as a nation”

“Therefore I want to use this platform to call on stakeholders and other organizations to join hands with us, help build the school blocks for this community because this is the only way to ensure better future for the up and coming ones”.
