Chief lauds NGO “As I Grow” over teenage pregnancy campaign

Nana Opare Appiah, Chief of Krutiase in the Eastern Region has commended NGO “As I Grow” for their immense contribution towards the development of Ghana.

Speaking in an interview on Good Life FM, Nana Opare Appiah explained that, his parish has witnessed huge improvement after the visit of “As I Grow” to educate the youth against teenage pregnancy.

“I’m very grateful to “As I Grow” after they visited our town to educate the youth against teenage pregnancy and help them understand the advantages of school, the town has seen huge improvement“

“After they (As I grow) visited us, the alarming rate of teenage pregnancy in Krutiase and its environs has reduced drastically”

Nana Opare Appiah used the platform to call on other social society’s organizations to help improved education since it’s the pre-requisite tool for development.

“I truly appreciate the effort of As I Grow coming to us to help improve the quality of education and help reduce the alarming rate of teenage pregnancy in my town”

“I will also call on other organizations, government and individuals to also come to our aid and help us with portable drinking water”
